Local Moves

• Are you moving within the Fredericton area? The cost for local moves (under 25 miles) is calculated on an hourly rate from the time our truck & crew leave the yard to the time they get back. This service includes truck & crew, loading, transportation, and unloading. (Local rates may vary between season.) Please contact us for our current local rate.

 Short Haul Moves

• Short Haul moves are moves under 150 miles which can be calculated on an hourly rate (including travel time). If you are moving between 25 & 150 miles, you should ask the moving consultant to do a cost comparison between hourly and a per cwt. rate.

 Long Haul Moves

• The cost of your move is dependent on the weight of your shipment and the distance from origin to destination. The moving consultant uses a published rate schedule as the basis for calculating the cost of your move.
• Your actual moving charges for a Canadian long distance move cannot be calculated until the truck is weighed after your shipment is loaded. The pre-load (tare) weight is deducted from the post load (gross) weight to determine the ‘net’ weight. This weight is used to calculate your transportation charges.
